In this twenty-eighth episode, Joshua and Kerrie talk what to do the day before Easter with laughter and deep words, discussing the meaning of never having to be separated from God as well as the holiness of getting ready for Easter.
The series God word:
“Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end” (John 13:1, NASB).
Today’s God word:
‘Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
“I am.” (Mark 14:62)
Christ’s response took him to the grave—resulting in a new life for all.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV).
Key: “The hour has come.” Christ is the I AM, God in the flesh, the One who chose to go to the grave, battling the darkness, breaking through the power of death.
Challenge: Take time to grieve the grave and all that it brings without the hope of more. Think about the amazing love of Christ to be willing to die and lay in the grave for you and I–Jesus values you and wants you to live the best life– The grave is proof.
